Obituary - Wilson Orlando (1914 - 2014)
After a wonderful long and full life, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 18, 2014 at the age of 100.
Beloved husband of Olga. Loving father of Alessandro (Helen), Marcello (Theresa), Marco (Gilda) and Wilman (Connie). Adored Nonno of Piero, Valentina, John, Amanda, Andre, Steffan, Michael and Nicole . He will be greatly missed and forever loved by all his family and friends.
Family and Friends are asked to meet directly at All Saints Catholic Church, 1415 Royal York Road for a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Private family interment at Sanctuary Park Cemetery. The family would like to invite friends to a reception in the church hall after Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Obituary - Domenica Orlando (1921 - 2014)

Orlando, Domenica (1921-2014)
Passed away at her home on Friday, April 25, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Albino. Loving mother to Mario (Jocelyn) and Frank (Judy). Cherished Nonna to Nathan, Ryan, Domenica (fiancé, Anthony), Taryn, Matthew and Luke.
She will also be dearly missed by her brother-in-law, Amadeo Orlando and sister-in-law and cousin, Barberina Orlando, as well as nieces Maria and Dina. She will fondly be remembered by family and friends including Dante & Egidia Amato, Vicky Orlando, Mary Elizabeth Orlando, and Vittoria & Joseph Martino. She was beloved Zia to her nieces and nephews in Italy including Francesco, Maria, Marcello, Antonietta, Alba and Aldo.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Monday, April 28th from 2-4pm & 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Roch’s Parish, 2889 Islington Ave., Toronto on Tuesday, April 29th at 10 am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery located at 8361 Yonge St., Thornhill.

Obituary - Tony Orlando

Peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital, on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, Tony Orlando, of Caledon East, in his 78th year, beloved husband of Mary Orlando. Loving father of Pina and her husband Robert Montalbano, Joey and his wife Sabrina Orlando, Rita and her husband Shawn Williamson. Cherished Nonno of Joshua and Vanessa, Anthony and Matteo, Kylie and Jessica.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Friday afternoon and evening 2 – 9 o’clock.
Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 16066 The Gore Road, Caledon East, on Saturday morning, March 1, at 10 o’clock. Followed by cremation.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Obituary - Ethel (Betty) Orlando (1917 - 2011)
ORLANDO, Ethel (Betty)April 9, 1917 - July 3, 2011
Published in the Toronto Star 7th July 2011.Passed away peacefully on July 3, 2011 at Erin Mills Lodge Retirement Home in Mississauga, Ontario. Betty was born the day Vimy Ridge was captured and always wished her parents had named her Vimy instead of Ethel. Ethel was the daughter of John and Agnes Urquhart of Glenholme, Nova Scotia. Loving mother to Margaret (Demetrios) Vagalatos of El Paso, Texas, Eugene of Truro, Nova Scotia and John (Colleen) of Oakville, Ontario. Betty was a loving grandmother to 6 grandhildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is the last member of her immediate family, predeceased by her first husband John (Jack) Smith (WWII), husband Norman Orlando, brother Fred Urquhart, sisters Maize, Elsie, Mabel, Eileen, Florence, Dorothy and Hazel. Ethel's love of her Maritime home and passion for family and friends will be missed by everyone she knew. Her remains will be buried in the Glenholme Cemetery beside the church with Norman. A special memorial to be held at a later date. Contact: jorlando1@cogeco.ca. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Alzheimer Society or the Oakville Humane Society, Oakville, Ontario.
