Obituary - John Albert Orlando (February 4, 1962 - December 1, 2011)
John A. “Jake” Orlando, age 49, Appleton resident and formerly of Chilton, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 1, 20ll.
John was born to John B. and Sharon (Meyer) Orlando in Athelstane, WI on February 4, 1962. John Graduated from Chilton High School. He worked for many years at Chilton Metal Products and was currently employed as a truck driver for Valley Express LLC in Oshkosh, WI. On September 25, 1997 he married Patty Vandenberg.
He is survived by his wife; Patty of Appleton a son Branden of Chilton, his father; John (Marie) Orlando of Crivitz, 3 sisters; Linda (Donald) Netzel of Crivitz, Bonnie (Stephen) Kartheiser of North Fond du lac and Suzanne (David) Cosentino of Athelstane, mother-in-law Shirley Vandenberg of Appleton, Sister-in-laws; Brenda Sanders of Green Bay, Linda (Alan) Surprise of Little Chute, brother-in-laws Brian Vandenberg of Green Bay, Jeff (Doris) Vandenberg of Hortonville, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother Sharon Orlando and father-in-law Kenneth Vandenberg. Friends may call at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home (801 George St.) in Crivitz December 5, Monday from 9a.m. until time of Funeral at 11a.m. Burial in Forest Home Cemetery in Athelstane. “You will be missed very much. “ We Love You!”
